Ship schedules are messy data structure to handle. The schedule structure are varied from one-way, bidirectional traffic, cyclic traffic and more difficult, different stops in different time period. As a software engineer, we need to break down this data structure into a smaller unit that can represent all schedules behaviours. Finally, we come out with 3 data units: ship point, route and ferry line. The route is made of ship points and the ferry line is made of route.
